Back up your photos and contacts, or save and transfer files with the SanDisk iXpand flash drive (from $35). Available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities, the iXpand features Lightning and USB connectors to connect to iOS devices and desktop computers.
When connected to a Mac or PC, the iXpand works like any other flash drive, and supports USB 3.0 transfer speeds for fast transfers. On an iOS device, you can copy files to the drive using the iXpand app via the Share Sheet. The app also works as an iOS document provider, allowing files stored on the drive to be accessed using supported apps (e.g., Files).
There’s a companion media player app, TopReel ($4.99), for watching videos directly from the drive. It supports a wide range of file formats and types that iOS doesn’t natively support, such as MKV, AVI, and FLV, and includes support for AirPlay and Google Cast.
